Using USB-C connection (Charge, display and Logi Dongle) to Dell Latitude 7490 (work laptop) Running Windows 10.

Monitor along with keyboard and mouse is shared between personal computer (Win7) using USB ports on monitor.

ONLY when connected to USB-C the USB mouse and keyboard drop connectivity randomly.

I have tried a hard reset on monitor but that did not help. I can get connection back by turning the monitor off then on again, can last anywhere from a few seconds to 30 mins before another disconnect. I have researched and have seen that a firmware update may solve my problem. 

Can anyone assist?
