When I connect the LAN cable directly to the U3421WE, it sometimes disconnects completely. Then it first connects to the WLAN and then it connects to the LAN connection. And this happens again and again and disturbs. But as soon as I connect the LAN cable directly to the notebook, it doesn't drop the LAN connection anymore. I have the notebook with USB-C connected to the U3421WE.
The provided online U3421WE Realtek USB GBE Ethernet Controller driver has to be installed on the PC.
The U3421WE doesn't have WLAN (wireless LAN)? It only has the onboard LAN RJ45 Ethernet. So not sure how it, "Then it first connects to the WLAN". ?
RJ45 Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps data rate via Menu- Display- USB-C Prioritization; • High Resolution = PC is DP 1.4/HBR3, Full video performance, RJ45 480 Mbps • High Data Speed = PC is DP 1.2/HBR2, Full video performance, RJ45 1000 Mbps
Network dropped or intermittent. Change to High Data Speed.
I am making a case study: I am working normally on the notebook and it knocks me completely out of the lan and wifi. Then it connects first to wifi and then to lan. And that only happens when I plug the LAN cable directly into the monitor. If I connect the LAN cable directly to the notebook, this does not happen.1.2.3.
