UP2716D power button issue

Hi,

so I bought a UP2716D monitor the other day and I have a problem with the power button (which is touch sensitive). So the thing is that most of the time I have to press the button like 5-6 times before it actually powers on, it will rarely work on the first try. It only happens with the power button, the menu buttons work perfectly. Does anyone else have this kind of problem or possibly a solution?

Thanks.

I know right, it's so annoying! But what I've figured out is that if you lightly slide your finger from left to right on the power button, it works like 99% of the time, so I hope that helps.

    Hello!

I've got same issue. I bought several days ago UP2716D (firmware M3T103) and the power button basicly don't respond at all (there was 1 time when I managed to turn it on after many many many many attempts and thats it). What should I do? Ask my seller for refund? I'm a disappointed.

... today I replug monitor and I noticed that when I put my fingers on back of a monitor and with thumb on a power button sometime helps ... so now 5 to 20 times of pressing powers on/off ... maybe it's a kind of a placebo effect

Oh man! Sliding from left to right actually working pretty good! Thx mate! Just wonder why pressing button doesn't work as well?

No problem man, I'm glad it worked for you as well. I really don't know, but it's definitely a big mistake from Dell, hope they fix that in the future.
