Go to SolutionCannot login to NMC console
Hello,
I am not able to login to the NMC on the backup server , i am receiveing an error says Could not authenticate this user name and password, try again.
it was working before and i did not change anything. i am sure that my password is correct. please help.

Hi Mourad,
Seems that you have a Java version on your backup server that is not compatible with the NMC console. What is your backup server version and build number ?
Would you please check the following:
1- The EMC GST service is up and running.
2- Clear Java Cache
3- If you have Java version installed version 1.6 update 27 or higher , i would recommend you to downgrade to update 26. To download an old version of Java you can download it from the Java archive site which is :
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html#jre-6u26-oth-JPR
