I'm looking at picking up a coupe of N4064F switches for use as dedicated iscsi switches. They will be connected to R620/630 servers mostly and compellent/equallogic storage.

Does anyone have experience using third-party twinax cables?(specifically from fs.com or addon computer and coded as either dell or cisco?)

Do they work?

Do I need to use any special commands to allow unsupported cables?

Will the N4064F allow me to use sizes other than 1, 3 and 5m ? (ie. 0.5 or 1.5 or 2m)?
