1545 Internet Loss requires restart. Software Issue!!!!!
I have a problem where my internet just stops working after random amounts of time. Its a Dell 1545 Connects wirelessy fine then randomly everything stops working no IE No updates on other programs. Windows says no problem with connection and once Restarted laptop (wihtout even touching Router) it all works again.
Have had tests on all line Isp and Router all working fine, Dell have told me Its a Software issue give them £60 and theyll sort it and i dont see what i should pay as i have a brand new laptop they wont help me with!!!
Anyone help out there, Pleassse?!
Its driving me mad!

Hey try downloading and installing the drivers for your wireless card from here:
Also try installing up to vista service pack 2.
(Service Pack 1 if needed before SP2)
Download files from another computer and copy to the desktop, then uninstall the dell wireless card or intel wireless card and restart, then install the driver from the link above.
Thanks for the replies. I already have Vista SP2 so thats out!! Maybe ill try reinstalling like you say, do you think this is all they meant?! I have a wireless printer also and it jus happend where the net cut out and then the printer stopped mid print! So its all linked somewhere!!!
Thakns for your help i hope i can sort this! Also i have Zonealarm! It seems to work fine with that BUT...if i turn the laptop on and THEN turn the router on it says Firewall blocked so and so just as the network goes live! It all seems to work fine tho?!
