Another Printer Sharing Problem

Hi,  I hope you guys can help out.

I have 3 computers on my home network (a Dim 3000 and 2 Dim 2400s).  I have a linksys router (the Dim 2400s have wireless PCI cards).  The Dim 3000 has an Epson 300R shared and all three computers can see it and use it.  All three computers have shared folders so that is not a problem.  The problem is my Dad gave me his old HP Deskjet 962C and I installed it on one of the Dim 2400s (no problem).  I shared it.  When I go to add this printer on the other 2400 or on my 3000 I can see the printer (through browsing) but when I click to connect to it XP tries but comes back with the error that the printer name is invalid or the printer has lost its connection to the network.  Well it has not lost its connection.  The name I am using is the default name "HP Deskjet 962C".  I went and changed the name to "kidsprinter" and now I can see both "HP Deskjet 962C" (not sure why it is still shows this name) and "kidsprinter" but I get the same name invalid error.  I searched around Microsoft's help pages but could not find anything.  All computers are running XP Home.  All firewalls allow printer and file sharing.

Thanks for any help,
Donald
