Verizon DSL TSP/IP

I have Verizon DSL and have had a problem working with them we detected no TSP/IP , how do I set teh TSP/IP. Thanks for any help any one can give me.

    Check this Knowledge Base article from Microsoft.  It will tell you how to reset TCP/IP in Windows XP:

    Thanks for the info I am still trying to figure it out though, just wish I could download from some place, without all the work, not as computer literate as I would like to be.

    Are you using the same computer for this forum that Verizon told you has a problem with TCP/IP?

    I can but have to use dial up modem, does this make a difference?

    spbuzzy,

    Since you can get onto the internet with that computer, your TCP/IP is just fine.  Computers all use TCP/IP to transfer data over the internet.  This is the same whether the computer uses DSL, Cable, or dial up.  The folks from Verizon did not fully understand your problem.  I would call them back and hope to speak to a different person.
