Hi,

I am have to look for a server for our small company, one of the features required is a RAID6 for a double redundancy on critical software. 

I understand that the Dell PowerEdge T30 can support 6 HD without adding a controller (4x3.5 and 2x2.5).

My first question is: can Intel RAID software setup a raid6 on those 6 drives or should I look for a specific controller?

Second question is: can Intel RAID software optimize the I/O if we use both SSD and HDD ?
