A week or so ago my PowerEdge 2600 server began blinking an orange light where previously was a solid blue light.  I checked the OpenManage Server Administrator, which reported 2 warnings -- the driver and the firmware for the RAID controller were out of date on both, and urgent updates were requested.

I installed both of these updates, rebooted the server a couple times, Acknowledged the "changes" in the OpenManage Server Administrator, etc.  At this point, the OMSA reports no issues at all with my server, but that orange light is still blinking.  I am concerned there is some nefarious problem going on that I'm unable to find. 

 

Is there another way to determine what has set off that flag, or to force it to reset?  I'd like to feel certain that there is no underlying problem with the system before doing a force.
