Poweredge R310 Installation for Windows Server 2012 R2
Good afternoon,
I am currently having difficulty installing a new OS to my Poweredge R310. I have 4 HDDs all with virtual disks configured to RAID 5 R/W. I am trying to install Windows Server 2012 R2 but I cannot get it to install. I updated to the latest BIOs, booting from a USB to install, and using the OS deployment feature, but I am getting no luck currently. The current server I am using does not have Lifecycle either, which seems to make it a little more difficult.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Thank you.

Hello
It would be helpful to know what is happening when you try to install the OS. You have not provided enough information for anyone to assist you. I would guess that you are using an S-series controller. You need to install the driver for the controller before the OS will be able to see the virtual disk.
