PowerEdge R710 E171F PCIE Fatal Error on bus 3 device 0 function 0 error

Hi,  

I've have PowerEdge R710 server up and running  with Windows Server 2008 for a year now. It boots up with E171F PCIE fatal error on bus 3 device 0 function 0 errors this morning.

Can anyone help resolve this?

    Good morning.

    Power down the server, remove the power cord, and hold the power button in to drain the remaining power off the board.  Open the server and reseat the PCIe expansion cards and risers.  Then power the server back up. If the error remains, go through the same process, this time, leave the RAID controller out and then power the server back up.

    Hi,

    I have installed windows 10 in a Dell r410 and a gpu into the pcie 16x.

    Now i cannot see any information during the post until the os is uploaded.

    I don't understand why cannot see anything during the post (black screen) but only windows 10
