PowerEdge R830 Watchdog Timer Issue

Dear Team,

We have a PowerEdge R830 which keeps randomly shutting down. We have IDrac Remote Access enabled and these are the errors we are seeing:

Sat Oct 29 2022 11:59:08 The watchdog timer reset the system.
Sat Oct 29 2022 11:59:08 A problem was detected during Power-On Self-Test (POST).

We are not sure which component could be causing the watchdog timer to power off the system. On BIOS OS watchdog timer is disabled. Our hardware support guy says BIOS and other related hardware components are up to date. Where can we check on why this is happening ?

    Hello, thanks for choosing Dell.

    1.  We need to check out Lifecycle Controller Log to see if there are other logs at that time.https://dell.to/3DNhVUA

    1. Also the other thing I could think of is OS vendor should take a look at OS logs/dump if you have that as well.
