Im looking at upgrading my memory on my brand new PowerEdge T20 server. Is this the correct memory for my unit?

    Hi Dell-Robert Alakara,

would you be able to confirm if i would be able to use the following RAM in our Dell T20 server:

    Kingston® ValueRAM™ Memory - 8GB DDR3-1600MHz, 240-Pin, PC3-12800, Non-ECC, CL11, Dual Rank DIMM

Currently I have 2x 8Gb Kingston RAM installed - information obtained from CPU-Z, so I think this will work but I want to be sure before making a purchase.

    Thanks,

    Jonathan

Go to Kingston's site and they have a memory compatibility option. Here you would select your Dell PowerEdge T20 and the website will list memory that they have verified/validated to be compatible.

I don't remember if Kingston offers this, but Crucial even has an option where you can look up the memory and then select which system you want to put it in, and it will tell you if it's compatible or not.
