SC1425 Not Starting
I have a SC1425 that was working perfectly up untill a few days ago. I came in and the server was turned off (oh dear!) when i try and turn it back on the fans spin up to maximum revs but then stays that way and don't turn down to normal running.
There are no warning lights or beeps just the power light flashing amber. I have removed all of the cards and drives but still nothing.
Has anyone come accross this or could point me in the right direction for diagnostics?

Heya i have this problem as well. i only just got past the amber lights by some fluke
but it seems that all of the peripherals are not getting power when i boot, only the Motherboard and the rediculously loud fans seem to show lofe when power button is pressed.
im beginning to think that the peripheral power cable is buggered. or the PSU. either way it doesnt seem that we will get anywhere untill we get a new PSU.
Do try resetting the NVRAM with the jumpers inside the machine, im pretty sure thats how i lost my amber lights
Hey i am at this stage with a server i am woking on for work. however i left it for a week and got pushed back to step one.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to progress past the "Power on, No peripherals and Loud Fans" stage?? im beginning to think i need a new BIOS
