    Hi,

These are the upgrades for the PowerEdge 2400 (58V110B) as shipped.

    System BIOS, PowerEdge 2400, A09
    FileName:  PE2400-BIOSA09.exe [513 KB]
    Release Date:  5/22/2003
    http://support.dell.com/FileLib/Format.aspx?ReleaseID=R56380

    Dell ESM Firmware, Multi-System, A51
    Filename: a51cust.exe (405 KB)
    http://support.dell.com/filelib/format.aspx?ReleaseID=R27673
Note: Extract the files to a DOS bootable floppy disk. Boot the server to this floppy disk, and run smflsh.exe.

    Adaptec PERC2/Si, Firmware, PowerEdge 2400, v. 2.7.1.3571, A09
    Filename: BI357109.exe [911 KB]

Press F6 when prompted by the Win2000 installation to load this driver:

    PERC2, 2/Si, 3/Si, 3/Di, Driver, 2000, v. 2.7.1.4944, A12
    Filename: w2ka12dr.exe [211 KB]

Same problem here. Service Tag 89HV801. Really concerned about the PERC card. What drivers do I need Mark?

    Hi Michael,

This PowerEdge 2400 had a Perc 2/dc factory installed. These are the latest firmware and driver upgrades for this configuration:

    System BIOS

    ESM Firmware

    Win2000 Perc 2/dc upgrades

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forums!

    Thanks Mark,

One quick question: The system Bios you point me too says not to use unless you are upgrading to Windows 2003. I am only upgrading to Windows 2000. Do I need a different Bios version?

    Thanks again.

    Hi Michael,

The documentation of that System BIOS download is a little unclear. It should say that support for Windows Server 2003 was added, not only. It will work fine on your system with Win2000.

    I apologize for the confusion.

    Thanks
    Mark
