Precision T1650 Cooler Upgrade
Hello, is it possible to upgrade the CPU cooler/heatsink on Precision T1650 with i7-3770 (TDP 77W) to some more powerful cooler, probably to the one used for cooling hotter E3-1290V2 (TDP 87W) on the same chassis (if different) or to the one used with even hotter E5-1650V2 (TDP 130W) on Precision T3610? Need help, please. Thanks

Hi Mike,
The standard heatsink for the T1650 is rated at 95W. The i7-3770 and E3-1290 v2 were both models that shipped with the T1650 so there shouldn't be any issues with them.
However, the E5-1650 v2 isn't compatible with this system since it uses a different socket type (FCLGA2011 as opposed to FCLGA1155 for the aforementioned CPUs)
