I have a T3600 with 4x8GB ECC RDIMM sticks. The machine would report memory errors being detected by RMT during POST: 6/7/36/36 errors for the 4 sticks.

I have ran extensive memory stress testing, both with the BIOS and standalone programs, sometimes for days. Zero problems found.

So for the last 4-5 years, I have been running the machine with RMT turned off. Zero issues whatsoever.

so I wonder just how reliable the RMT is at detecting memory errors. what's your experience with the Dell RMT?
