Have a AIO 962 printer. Printer stopped communicating and working. Received a message that needed to reinstall printer drivers. Attempted to do so both with CD as well as download from site. no Luck. Keep getting the following message - "Microsoft Visiual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error - C:\\programfiles\dellphotoAIOprinter962\dlbxmon.exe and \dlbxaiox.exe.
Any ideas or thoughts? Do I need to start from scratch, and if so, what is the protocol specifically step by step. I am a novice...
Please follow these instructions and tell me if this fixes the error.
First, let's make sure your computer has the latest Windows Updates, especially .net framework, needed to run many applications and the latest Java.
Disconnect your printer. Download and run this patch to completely remove the printer from your computer. Run the patch(a MUST on Vista machines) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
GREAT JOB! :emotion-21: Glad you got your printer working. It's also nice that you searched the forums for a solution, even though Ira07 didn't click the verified answer button.
I used your instructions for Ira07 regarding the 962 printer with the runtime error and it worked. I have spent 12 hours with this dumb error after installing a Disney MIx Stick. Im thankful you took the time to post those instructions.:emotion-21:

Ira07,
Please follow these instructions and tell me if this fixes the error.
Restart your computer.
Download the proper drivers.
XP Drivers
Vista 32-bit Drivers
All other drivers
Vista 64-bit Drivers
Install the proper drivers. You'll be prompted when to connect your printer.(powered on)
Scanning
Scanning using USB connection, open the Dell All-In-One Center, click on scanning and copying and scan from there.
Scanning wirelessly, use the scan buttons on the printer.
