MFP 1815dn Printing Problems

Please help!!!

I have a MFP 1815dn that is connected to both my PC and my network.  I tried printing from my network first, however, it won't print; then, I tried printing from my PC and it had the same results.  I checked the connections on my network and everything was fine.  The printer just doesn't seem to respond to the network or my PC as it used to.  What can I do to fix this issue?

I am unable to print PDF documents. This is a printer connected in the network at a university. The printer is a Dell 1815 dn. The error message it shows is " the document couldnot  be printed".

did you try the PCL driver ?

there are 3 different drivers for the 1815, normal, PCL, and PS.

    try them all.

go to your printers & faxes section of the control panel.

right click on the 1815 printer, and go to properties.

    click on the ports tab.

what port is it connected to ? USB or a IP address ?

if IP Address, is the printer network settings configured properly ? (check the printer menu for network)

can you ping the ip address of the printer ?
