Photo 964 All-in-One Printer Problem - Extremely Slow!!!!!!!
In Dec '05 I purchased a new Dell Dimension E510 and a Dell Photo 964 All-In-One printer. I have never owned a printer that was this slow! It literally can take hours to print something, especially if I insert any graphics. Something has to be wrong but I can't figure it out and the level of service provided by Dell has been extremely disappointing. Has anyone else experienced this type of issue and how did they fix it?
- there must be some setting wrong. I am able to print text out very quickly, and photos out within the 2-6 minute range depending on size. Try to make sure that you turn on the draft mode settting and that the paper type setting is set to plain (except when doing photos)
