Microsoft Office Product Key

New to board.  Had a recent system recovery, now MS Office 2007 requires entry of the product key which is sadly not available.  Is this something Dell can provide again or should I contact Microsoft? 

 

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.

    Microsoft would refer you to Dell if bought from Dell.  If you have misplaced the originally supplied install package with product key you are probably out of luck.  I would try calling customer service on Monday to request a replacement disk and/or product key, but this could be a tough one.

    Did you actually purchase Office, or did you have a free trial offer that Dell put on your system and which has now expired? And does that explain why you don't have the original installation CD with the license key on the envelope?
