When I first got my 700m I saw a c:\i386 folder on the HD. It was a little over 300 mb in size and looked like it contains the XP install files. As I removed a bunch of unwanted apps from the disk, the size increased until it is now a little less than one gigabyte in size. What was happening to make it grow so much?

I have the XP backup install disk, so is there any need to keep that folder around?
