Dell vrtx

hello guys my name is Louis, .. can someone help me with my question, with a dell VRTX chassis is it possible to install the operating system on an ioDrive and combine the server to make one?

    Fusion IOdrives are part of the legacy and IIRC you cant boot from them in general because of the very complicated and special driver. Have nothing to do with the VRTX in general.

    Thanks for the clarification, is there any possibility of merging the physical 4server into a single powerful virtual machine?, So combine all the performance of 4 server in 1?

    No. Depending on the workload (application) horizontal scaling is better than vertical. Standard x86 hardware doesnt work that way.

    I use all my VRTX as a VMware vSphere Cluster.

    PS: In a former life i work with SGI Origin server which work in way you would like to see with your VRTX. Having a single image system which bind dozens of computing hardware together.
