OM 6.1 & ESX4
Not ESX4i, Apparently with 6.1 one of the setup switches changed from a -b to a -d (from previous 6.0.x). Also in the snmp.d file how or what is hte right way to configure the snmp settings? There aren't any templates that i have been able to find. Looking for the command configuraitons i need to set this up appropriately please.

The relevant section is titled "Setting Up SNMP on VMware ESX Server 4.0 and Later For Discovery " and shows you how to configure the new vSphere SNMP conf file.
However saying all this, it just doesn't work (if tried several different hosts and all the same). SNMPwalk returns the VMWare MIB and the default system MIB but can't see the Dell MIB. Traps arrive in ITAssistant ok so I know it's not the trap configuration that's broken.
If I get a resolution I'll let you know :)
