I do not work on the Venues much, but looked into this a bit and from the looks of it the t01d is what you will want to stick with. The t02d looks to be the non-pro version and has a bit different layout for the camera/internal components (thus the t01d will be much easier to get to work, if the t02d can even work). I couldn't find much on display cable layout etc but just the from the layout standpoint the t01d will be the safer bet.
