Venue 8 Android 5.1 battery drain

Hello,

I have high battery drain since updating my venue 8 to Android 5.1. It seems to be a problem with the Android OS. In the battery settings Android OS is always on top with an active CPU time of some hours. Probably the the tablet doesn't go into sleep mode. Are there possible solutions?

    I noticed this myself yesterday after using the tablet for a while.  Sleep mode works well, but other applications can disrupt it, especially ones like cloud services (OneDrive, Box, DropBox, etc.).  You can lookup a "wakelock" detector on Google Play store that will report in detail what's running in the background.

    I think, however, you're seeing system at the top because of the screen resolution on this tablet.  2560x1600 is massive for a tablet, so the load on the processor and GPU is likely showing up under Android System as one of the largest power drains.
