"Not Responding"
I am just about ready to throw my computers out the door. I have a Dell Inspiron 1000 Notebook, Windows XP SP2, IE7 and a Dell Desktop Dimension 2400, Windows XP SP2, IE7. I am running AVG antivirus professional, CounterspyV2 professional & SpyBot Search & Destroy. I have DSL high speed and I broadband through AOL 9.1c. Just about every function I attempt to do on my computers will freeze up and I get a "Not Responding" in parentheses at the top of the program. This happens everywhere! On AOL, Internet Explorer, I can be on my desktop running a scan and it happens. I can't take this anymore............can somebody explain to me why, what and how? As far as being infected, all my scans ever show is cookies..............lots and lots of (they say) not harmful cookies. I NEED help I am tearing my hair out. Thank You!
