my sound driver is corrept or somthing... i cant have sound even when i remove the sound driver and reinstall it it gives me an error at the end of the installation and exits. please help me so i cna resolve this problem....
By using the 'Options' menu in your post, you can edit and /or add additional comments to your post

A commonmistake made by many first time users on the forums, is that with little or no information provided,
(e.g. type of 'system' [Dimension 2400] one is using, Which o.s. is being used [xp/win98/2000 etc.] How the problem is occuring, or any error messages shown, and so on)
An answer can be provided to solve a problem.
Please give more details so a more complete answer can be given.

This is the file for integrated audio for the 3000. If this does not correct the problem please go to the Dimension Audio forum and give additional details on the problem and what you have tried. You can also try running a System Restore point to a recent date when all was well.
You have the integrated audio and not a separately installed sound card, right? The above driver is the only driver listed on the Dell driver download page for your computer model. It certainly
should install if you have integrated audio. What exact error message are you receiving?
