!Submit

I was working on a friends computer and looks like he was hit by something.  He is running XP with several user accounts.  IE was deleted from his account and he can't connect through his ISP (MSN Dial-up - which makes things real tough due to the slow speed).  He definitely had a couple things that I was able to remove (se.dll removed with SpSeHjfix) and about.blank.

Adaware scan is clean but I see a folder called !Submit in the C directory - I tried a google and get nothing - anyone know what this is?

I was able to create a new user account on the PC so he can have internet access back, any way to repair IE on the account that got hosed?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

"C:\!Submit" is a folder created by The Killbox. It contains backup copies of filed deleted by Killbox. If it is empty or the files contained are no longer needed then you can go ahead and delete the folder.

You could try an IE reinstall in the affected account.
http://www.theeldergeek.com/repair_ie6.htm is one set of instructions.
