Alas, I have nothing to say about HitmanPro.Alert, other than to say that I uninstalled after it did nothing to prevent my recent woes resulting in the disabling of my Panda AV and MBAM Pro real-time protection, hijacking of my browser and search engine, etc. This while using the fully paid version of HMP.A, with all the bells and whistles (Surfright generously gave me a license key, after complaints I made about problems I was having with too many browser alerts and crashes I was having with the trial version).
I haven't bothered to re-install the free version, even though it never gave me any problems. I'm not blaming HMP.A for my recent problems. But it certainly didn't protect me. As far as I know, it still does not have a user-to-user forum to address problems, so I just threw in the towel.
