SMC 7.3

I have an existing host that I need to add 2 more FA ports to due to Performance issues. I have several question on how to accomplish this without a host outage. I am using auto provisioning so I have an existing SG, IG, MV and PG. How and where do I add 2 more FA ports? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First you need to zone your existing hosts with new FA ports then you can add the new FA ports to existing port group which should give you extra paths from storage to host.

just add additional ports to the existing PG, once you do that your devices will be mapped to 4 paths...

The one thing I would add to this is that I prefer to map the devices to the new FA ports manually before adding the FA ports to the port group. That way you can manually ensure that the LUN IDs assigned line up with what's on the existing FAs. Some hosts may not care, but others do, and it can make troubleshooting a lot easier in the future for some hosts. I especially recommend doing this if you are working with any kind of clustering (includes ESX & VIO).
