TDAT Creation Feasibility
Hi
I have some questions on TDAT creation, requesting to please help me with this.
1. In which Scenario i would need to create TDATs manually, my understanding is TDATs are created while installing/adding new disks to my storage system, please correct me if I'm wrong.
2. what are the feasibility checks I need to perform before creating TDATs? And how do I know that a disk group is eligible to create TDATs?
3.How do i know what's the maximum number of TDATs i can create from a disk group?
is there anything like pest practice regarding size of TDATs?
I hope TDATs are created by EMC guys while installing the new disks, our job to add them to thin pool, please correct me if i'm wrong.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. This thread has some information that might help. https://dell.to/3HUrCTW Which device are you using? Is this a new install? There is also more information here https://dell.to/3v8IwGF and https://dell.to/3FLvjbQ
TDATs are groups of physical disks that are sharing a raid level, so it will depend on your environment.
