I uninstalled yahoo messenger 3 days back and tried installing a new one but Norton shoots "GLB*.tmp" (* = A,B,C,D,E) is trying to access DNS server "Allow (Recommended)" Risk level : Low.
After I hit Allow, the error message iget is the one written above " Could not load DLL library. Specific Module missing"
Can anybody please help me out?
thanks in advance,
vaky
P.s. Since this error message is takes 1000 years for my laptop to shutdown and asks me each time to End Now "GLB*.tmp"
the file is not GLB*.tmp............its like GLBA.tmp then after next boot GLBB.tmp, then next boot and GLBC.tmp.............and so on..........I have to click end now each time i shut down my computer. the problem with the file is still there after disk clean up:smileysad:

Hi,
"GLB*.tmp"
What is this file which is causing the problem?
First of all run Disk CleanUp
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk CleanUp
Put a check at all the Temporary Files, but do NOT put a check at "Compress old files"
Let it clean up the drives and go see if the problem is still there.
If it is, run a system search for that file and try to find out what it is
