DirectX 9.0
Hi I have just downloaded this new version of directx to help me more with graphics as I use online 3D gaming (Secondlife). On the microsoft download page it also says what other have downloaded as well as the new version. Amongst these is this
DirectX 9.0b SDK Extras: Direct3D
Would this assist in 3D gaming.
Also I am trying to find out what is the actual features of the Geforce 7300 LE that was already installed on my pc when purchased which is October 2006, and if indeed I need to update the card as I have not done so since purchase. Thank you

I think you may be a bit confused as to what the download provided. Refer to the overview:
"This download contains modeling package plug-ins for extracting skinning information for use with Direct3D®. It contains plug-ins for 3DStudio Max 3.0, 3DStudio Max 4.0, Maya 2.5, Maya 3.0, and Maya 4.0. It also contains the source code for the Mesh Viewer Utility."
I believe it's more for developers than end users and gaming.
