Error 1919 Problem

Boy, have I gone around this mountain constantly!  I've got a problem that several people have tried to help me with but haven't been successful as of yet.

When I try to install Microsoft Access 2002 on my Windows XP system, I get this error...
"Error 1919. Error configuring ODBC data source: MS Access Database. ODBC error 0: Verify that the file MS Access Database exists and that you can access it."

I've had Access on this machine before but deleted it due to non-use and didn't want to take up anymore space with it so got rid of it.  Now that I need it again, I get this error and it won't install properly on my system.

When I've searched the Net for the cure, it's been said that if Corel WordPerfect has been removed, some necessary registry sub-keys were removed with it thus creating the above error.  I don't know if I need to reinstall Corel or not...don't know if this would help fix the problem.

I've downloaded Registry Fix and though I love the software, it didn't fix the problem.

Can anyone help me???  I'm at my wit's end!  :smileymad:
