How do i uncompress files that windows Xp disc Cleanup compress? Help !


How do I uncompress the files that got compressed using windows XP disc Cleanup! Some programs are running slower now.
                       
 
PLEASE HELP!!!

    Thankx but that did not help . i need to know how to uncompress the files that disc cleanup compress on me i did not know that it would make some programs run slower .

    But its almost 2 gigs of programs of files on the c drive and im not sure which ones is there any way to just run a program or a xp program that will uncompress the files ?

    First, you need to be able to see which files are compressed. See this Microsoft article, especially the section entitled "Displaying Compressed Files in Color", for making that change.

    Then you need to select the files you want to uncompress. That's done with the Windows Explorer, as described in this Microsoft article. See the section entitled, "To set the compression state of a folder or file".
