IE7 not responding/lockup
Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a Dell Precision 4300 running WinXP (which I have since patched up completely via Microsoft Update). I find that IE7 locks up (displays "(not responding)" in the title bar and needs to be shut down forcibly) many many many times a day. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does anyone have a solution (other than switching to FireFox)?
I should note that the Google toolbar is installed (came that way, wasn't my doing).
For what it's worth, my processor is a T7700 and I'm running with 2GB of RAM. I typically run as a windows "Power User" account, but do not have Administrator privileges on the box, and do not want to have to elevate my privileges if I don't have to.
Thanks in advance.
