The SMBIOS is part of the operating system and not the system's BIOS which is contained on the motherboard.  Did by chance you re-install the operating system?  If so then I suspect you did not install the chipset driver.  That driver must be one of the first ones installed after re-installing the OS.  You can click here for the latest chipset driver in the Dell File Library for your model.  If you did not re-install the operating system then try posting your problem over in the Software - Windows XP forum.  Someone there can assist you in doing a repair of Windows.  Unfortunately I am a newbie to Windows XP so I am not too well versed in using the repair option of that OS otherwise I would give you an assist.

Thank you,,,,yes i  did  reinstall o.s,,,,,,and  did  what you said,,,,reinstalled  the  chip set  from list  you gave,,,,,,but  stil  resolve  problem, but thanks  anyway

Unfortunately the problem lies with the operating system.  I see from your previous postings in the Software - Windows XP forum you haven't received much help.  If the problem started after re-installing the OS then I would try again.  Click here for a Dell Knowledge Base article that will take you step by step through the re-installation process of the operating system and drivers.

 

The only other thing I can suggest is use one of the Internet search engines and search on various topics of: "smbios errors"  "smbios driver errors"  "smbios driver"  and see what the search produces.
