When I try to embed an image in outlook express I can click on pictures.. go to the folder where my pictures are at.. and once there I try to click on the graphic that none of the buttons will tick.. and will not add the graphic to the email... I can't even click on cancel and have to use the task manager to shut it down... other wise it is basically frozen there.. I have it set up for html and done everything I can think of.. I am not new to computers.. but this is a new computer... thanks for any help you can give me.:::smileyhappy:
I take it you are using the word "embed" to indicate that you wish to
insert a picture from files. If you are having difficulty doing that have you gone to Tools|Options|Send tab, clicked "HTML Settings" and clicked "Send pictures with messages?"
Thanks I can attach it.. but I want it in the message... not down below it.. and I know that I should be able to do this.. and I can't.. and it is a feature that I really want and need..
When you compose a message, move your curser to where you want to insert something. Select picture from the 'Insert' tab at the top. Browse to the location of the pic, Open, [OK] and it will be inserted. More on the help tab under 'Creating and sending E-mail messages'.
Thanks if my outlook express were working properly then I know that is how to do it.. but since it isn't.. it just doesn't work.. but thanks so much for the help.
This worked . Thank you so very much for this solution.. I have been using outlook since I have had this problem and can't wait to get back to OE... Thank you again!:smileyvery-happy:
