Recovery Disc

How do I create recovery discs for my Inspiron 1501 that came loaded with windows vista, since no recovery discs were shipped with the computer.

You cannot make recopver disk, but you can get all of the installation disk ( including the OS )

And request them for your system. You will need the service tag and order #. I have done this several times and have always gotten them within 3 - 4 days.

No, I just got a disc that came with the laptop that has upgrades to other Vista versions. I recently bought a compaq presario that allowed me to make recovery discs. I guess I will have to call Dell and get them to ship me out the recovery discs.

I don't really see a UK alternative that isn't a pay for service type thing but I would start here:

    With an e-mail.

Sorry I can't be more specific.
