Registry Seeker

I am wondering if anyone has used this tool and if so their impression of it. I am a little hesitant to run it without talking to some people first since I do not want to screw up something. If people have other suggestions for program that cleans Windows registries for XP I would like to hear them. Thanks.

Here is the best tool I have ever found, NONE - Leave the poor registry alone.  There are rare occasions when you may need to access the registry your self, but other than those specific instantances, do nothing.

    too each there own,

I have used regseeker 1.35 for a long time with no side affects what so ever. it also has some nice onboard tweaks which work fine.

I agree with msgale, but !?

if you take a backup of your registry:

    you'll just be fine.

I use RegSeeker when I uninstall software/programs and want to delete the rest of it,

    ( and thats quiet a lot )

Is everything it finds ok to delete? I see things in red and green. Thanks.

I will leave you with one question, were you cleaning the registry to solve a specific problem, or because you believe it to be a good thing to do?  One more thought, Microsoft, used to have a freeware registry cleaner, which they no longer have available, why is that?
