To make life simple, can I leave the USB cable plugged into the front USB connection permanently and just plug the other end into my camera when I need to? This way I don't need to bend down and search for the plug, which is placed in such an awkward position. I have a Dim 4550, and the 2 USB connections are in a rather inconvenient location.
