One-Pixel Dot on My LCD Monitor
I just purchased an Ultra Sharp 19" flat panel monitor (1905FP). Recently, I notice a tiny red dot in the far right middle of the screen. It's about pin hole size, and I'm guessing it's one pixel. It's there all the time, no matter what application is running, so it's the monitor. As it is, it's not that annoying, but my concern is that it will spread somehow to adjacent pixels. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing in LCD monitors? And, should I request a new monitor from Dell now or wait and see what happens first?
Thanks - Zelmo
PS: Does anyone know what the service tag is for a standalone monitor?

You really cannot wait until something happens...Dead or stuck pixels may never happen again, or they will, and you don't want to wait...If you can live with the red stuck pixel, keep the monitor, but you only have the 21 days from the ship date to return it, and get another brand new one. Think carefully about what you can, and cannot live with...Its your money
I had one stuck pixel and sent the monitor back for another. The second one was just fine. However others have had problems with a second monitor. Luck of the draw.... Good luck
