Optiplex GX270 power up problem
I have a couple of Optiplex GX270 computers and all of them are having the same issue, seems like a defect... When i turn on the computer, the power light comes on but nothing happens, the monitor doesnt come on. sometimes what i do is unplug the power supply leave it for a while then plug it back in and it works for a while before it happens again... now that temporary fix does not work anymore, i've tried changing the power supply doesnt work, tried changing the memory doesnt work, tried changing the AVG card doesnt work..
ANY ONE HAS ANY IDEA HOW TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM.... Short of me throwing away these computer.

And I'm assuming the computer would have to be sent back to Dell for the replacement capacitors? This isn't something "anyone" could do?

I've just looked through about 15 pages of the forum and most of the posts are on the GX270 mombo issue. I'm going to go with the consensus of the forum, but I will check the capacitors to see if they are visibly showing the bulges. But from the problems the computer is having, it's safe to say it is the capacitors.
