DELL INSPIRON 1525 GRAPHICS CARD UPGRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family graphics card...... i believe.
I was wondering if it is possible and how much it would cost to buy a new card in order to play the latest games on the market.
The one i have is not compatible with 9/10 games i seem to try.
I only need a card that will allow me to play these games.
PLS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not possible with this model; if you need better video, you need a different notebook.

I own a inspiron 1525 laptop it was i gift to me from a friend. I too play many games like [Combat Arms], [Battlefield 2 Demo], [War Rock], [CrossFire].
But my main game is Combat Arrms i play it like 24/7 and i had to turn down graphic settings in-game to reduce lagg, rubberband(pull back in-game) or for people who understand me it's slowness of the game. I use a monitering device called XFire witch recordes my game settings profiles. i have tried to find out ways to increase my graphics speeds but the best i can do is just run all applactions(games) in admin mode.

You all need a studio 15 with the 4570 graphics card.Newer 3d games will not play well on integrated graphics.
A dedicated graphics card with at least 256 memory is needed.These cheaper 400 and 500 laptops with integrated graphics memory will not run modern games.
Or even better you can build a desktop for less than $500 that is upgradable and can play all the newer games.

I have the same problem. I like to play World of Warcraft, but the new update has shown me just how behind my card is. They said in the game forums that the new updated Intel driver (7.15.xxx.xxx etc) should make it playable. This doesn't work for us since Dell apparently makes it so we can't use generic drivers. They need ones specifically taylored to Dell computers. DELL UPDATE THE DRIVER!!!!!!!!!! I paid for time to play. They are costing me money. I can't play because they are too slow in making a simple driver.
