Dell logo at start up is missing.
I have a Studio 1537 which the network adapter was recently replaced by a Dell technician due to internet connection problems. Now internet is working fine and all but I noticed the Dell logo at start up is missing. When I start up my computer all I see is a short script (with "F2 Set-up" below the screen), then black screen, then microsoft logo before the log-in. Any help, ideas, suggestions you could give on why this is happening and how to bring back the Dell logo at start up would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

:^/ As I understand it, the Dell logo is part of the BIOS data. An upgrade to your BIOS data may fix the trouble. It may be possible to "upgrade" to the same version you already have, thus correcting any corrupted portion.

It sounds like the tech did more than just replace the NIC. The boot logo is part of the boot files installed by Dell and if the hard disk is formatted or the MBR on the hard disk is over written the restore function will no longer work.
