Video Card for Inspiron 530

Hello i recently purchased a Inspiron 530 and I'm a little unsure of what the best video card i can get for it is. I want to be able to play games like Crysis, Bioshock, COD 4 and others like those. I'm aware that the PSU is a little crippling, I was hoping it would have been better. Any help would be nice cause im not really sure how to go about buying a video card for this thing. Also I;m looking for a video card with 2 DVI ports.

Some things you might need to know.

-Core 2 Quad Q6600

-Windows Vista 32-Bit

-3 Gigs of Ram

-350W PSU

you can go with either a 8800gt or 9800gt card on your current set up. Either will run those games at respectful settings.

Yeah it's hard to beat the 8800GT for the price.  I found it at Fry's for 80.00.  I run it in the 830S however I had to clip off the top connector because the 830S is slim line low profile box.

I play crysis very well with everything set to medium on my 8800gt, I am sure you will be able to run everything else you listed at even better settings.

Just make sure you do some research before you make your purchase, look into the 9800 as well.

Good Luck.

Hey thanks for your response. Both of the card you mentioned look good but i was looking at the specs for them and they suggest having at least a 400W PSU. Would that be a problem because i only have a 350W? I don't understand PSU's that well.

Dell power supplies are normally underrated. A 350w supply from Dell will actully be the same as a 400-425w supply from another vendor. You will have sufficent power to run either of those two cards as while they say a 400 they draw far less than that.
