Intel Core 2 Duo

So i have a question when i bought my vostro 1500 intel core 2 duo was already installed on it. Well for some weird reason, I think it is because i let my cousin play on the computer, this program is no longer on my computer and now i can't burn cds. I don't know what i should do. I do not want to buy it because i had already had it. I even have the sticker still on my computer. What should I do?
