Hello
I can't find any articles relating to the old, old Dell Dimension B1100. I'm pretty sure its a Socket 478 right? Thanks!

Any Socket 478 Northwood or Prescott P-4 processor, will work in the B110/1100, with an FSB specification up to 800 MHz.

So the NVIDIA 8400GS PCI, is the best upgrade that I can get for the GPU?

The P4 3.0 Prescott 3.0GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket 478 89W Single-Core Processor, shown in your link should be fine.
The maximum memory the B110/1100 supports is, 2gb.
Note: For maximum performance, the memory should be installed in matching pairs.
For memory that's certified to work in the B110, has a lifetime warranty and free S&H on orders $40.00+, go HERE.

It's a good card, but I'm not certain it's the 'best', check out the PCI card HERE

Thanks for the replies, I found a 9500GT in PCI. Also there is a NVIDIA 6200 X2 1GB card.

You cannot use any PCI Express cards in the B110, only PCI.

I understand. But Jaton makes the 9500GT in a PCI flavor.
